Lilith and the Nature of Negative Space, Part Five

Different Ways #11 Lilith and the Nature of Negative Space, Part Five

Gender fluidity and imagining a better world. Where to begin?

In thinking about my inner masculine and feminine natures in negative space, I'm enjoying re-framing what I once viewed as a static and one dimensional other only, when I can now view the other AND. It sounds more complicated but it feels simpler. It feels this way for me because my ideas don't spring from my head, they are seated in my body; more specifically, in my heart. I can feel the polarities conversing and interrelating. I can feel them balancing. Dancing. Conversing. Less posturing and more connection, equals a more natural motion. It feels sane even though my mind must expand to wrap itself around the idea still. That is how it is with evolution and newly introduced concepts and paradigms. The mind doesn't come up with these things; the heart does and the mind must step up its game to engage.

It can be a strange thing to consider that the same soul that we have been relating to (or actively ignoring) all of our lives is something that is a font of many life experiences that we have access to. Access to soul is a tool to better understand our navigation in this life. I think this knowledge a gift, frankly. My mind wants to hang with my heart in pondering and exploring the mysteries with openness. It wants to spend its last days expanding on ideas, finding clues and positing theories. This is one different way that we can open ourselves up by ceasing to vilify the dark female. Let her sit as a guest of honor in inner counsel. Listen to her.

Music: I was reminded of this song. A classic. Of course, everyone knows the melody and the words. It is the first time, however, that I've listened to it myself and wondered, realistically, what would it take to actually make a world like John is describing? I mean be a part of making a world that recognizes life as more valuable than any design we have known? I've never heard this song as an invitation before. We've had decades to imagine it. But do we have the guts to go the distance to actually do it? What will it take? I think it will take everyone who believes that human beings can be improved from 2.0 to 3.0 or even a 4.0 by doing one or two small things in their lives to make the world we live in better to reach a tipping point in our favor. I propose holding some negative space in the eye of the fury for an outrageous possibility by shocking ourselves into a benevolence.

Consider abundance; focusing on what is possible instead of keening over what is scarce and scaring us, then imagine it so.

Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today... Aha-ah... Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion, too Imagine all the people Living life in peace... You... You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world... You... You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will live as one
