Overthinking. Just about everyone I know, including myself is guilty of this. Hafiz warns of this hazard when igniting the creative spark. We are sometimes not comfortable where our imaginative right brain takes us and there is a danger of veering off into sabotaging ourselves with our reasonable mind. Our minds, untamed, will always try and protect us and avoid the difficult questions by blowing smoke up our asses. Hafiz suggests that one can outgrow our need to explain every last thing, be afraid, or over identify with our creations and lean into learning to quietly season ourselves to staying our course.
Thank you for listening.
Music: Florence and the Machine. Is there a more mesmerizing artist today than Florence Welch and her marvelous machine? Here she is with the amazing Bill Nighy playing her anxiety in this video. This video says it all. We can learn to become friends with our logical minds to let our creativity run free.
