Episode One Hundred Sixty Five, The Mountain Got Tired of Sitting

We are as spawn from a dream the mountains had of the stars. This is what is coursing through our daily lives as we live in each moment we are alive. This poem makes me think of human evolution. How, as we make our way on earth into and through our many lives and lessons, our carbon is pressed into diamonds that continually leave our bodies and return us to our radiance. It is the pressure of our lives that give us who we really are and brings us into fulfillment. It is an alchemy of thousands of years that brings us to this moment in time. How spectacular is that?

This is the a beautiful poem and I feel it carries a deep truth about being human. I think I will shut up and let it stand as it is.

Thank you for listening.

Music: This is an old, classic chestnut but I watched this stunning video of Pink Floyd performing Shine on you Crazy Diamond feeling like the song was just waiting for me to post it with this poem by Hafiz. The sax solo at the end of this song will press you to tears, if you let it. The song and the video are simply brilliant. We shine on.
