Our brilliant minds will trend us to death if we allow it. Learning the difference between the language of the body and that of the mind as it pertains to food and all consumption is discussed in this excerpt. We are not taught the language and inherent wisdom of our bodies. We must learn it way after the fact; usually after repeated cycles of futile attempts to attain the relatedness that we desire. How we listen and respond to what our bodies are telling us is key to maintaining a healthy relationship with our bodies and our staying aligned with being able to bring our best selves forward. Likewise our quiet judgements and criticisms we have about our bodies hold weight in these conversations and need to be owned and forgiven.
